​In a major development shaking up the local political landscape, Dr. Oluwademilade Akin-Alabi, popularly known as GENIO, has officially obtained the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to contest for the Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Ibadan North East Constituency II under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

​The declaration, which has sparked immediate excitement across the constituency, positions the European-trained medical doctor as a dynamic force for change as the state prepares for the 2027 elections.

​Speaking on the development, Akin-Alabi noted that his decision is rooted in a deep desire to offer purposeful representation that aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
