The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE) has announced its Christmas and New Year Special Operation Schedule to ensure effective traffic management on major corridors. The operation will run from December 22, 2025, to January 5, 2026, focusing on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and other vital routes to manage increased vehicular and human movement during the festive season.
TRACE will collaborate with other safety and security agencies and engage the public through various initiatives to promote road safety. Field Commanders have been instructed to ensure that TRACE operatives maintain professionalism and civility.
Cmdr. Elias Omonayajo Adedayo advises road users to avoid drinking and driving, excessive speed, and night travel, and to adhere strictly to traffic rules.
