The Ogun State Police Command’s Anti-Robbery Squad has arrested Adenekan Segun, also known as “Expensive,” a suspected armed robber, after receiving credible intelligence. The arrest occurred on December 14, 2025, when operatives found him unlawfully in possession of two pump-action firearms, which he allegedly brandished during a dispute.
Investigations are ongoing to trace the source of the recovered firearms, and the suspect will be charged in court upon completion. The Commissioner of Police praised the swift action of the operatives and reiterated the Command’s commitment to combating armed robbery and illegal firearm possession.
