Nigerian singer Shola Allyson has clarified why she doesn’t mention Jesus in her songs. In response to criticism, she stated, “No one can bully me into joining their darkness that looks like light.”

In an interview on Oyinmomo TV, she explained, “I’m not a religious singer and have never called myself a gospel artist. My name is Shola Allyson. I’m a singer.”
When asked about the absence of Jesus in her music, she said, “Jesus did not instruct us to mention His name in songs, nor did He ask us to do PR for Him.”
