Popular Actor Okemesi Cries Out Over ‘Spiritual Attack’ That Left Him Crippled and Homeless

The Nigerian entertainment industry is reeling after a heartbreaking video surfaced of actor and content creator Bamidele Tope Saint, popularly known as Okemesi, begging for a second chance at life.

Once a regular face on our screens, Okemesi has been missing in action for a year. On Thursday, February 5, 2026, he reappeared in a shocking state during an interview with colleague Tony Montana, looking almost unrecognizable.

Okemesi’s descent into hardship wasn’t a gradual one—it was a “spiritual blow” that stripped him of his health and career. The actor revealed that he suffered a mysterious attack that left him completely paralyzed and unable to speak.

“I couldn’t talk or stand. I became crippled,” Okemesi shared. “We realized it was beyond the hospital when my condition worsened despite medical treatment. It was a spiritual attack.”

The actor’s story took a darker turn when he moved to Osogbo to seek spiritual help from an Islamic cleric (Alfa). While he regained the ability to walk with crutches.

With no roof over his head and no means to feed himself, the actor is making a desperate plea to his fans and the general public. Tony Montana, visibly shaken by his colleague’s appearance, noted that fans might not even recognize the star in his current state.

“I don’t have a place to sleep, I don’t have anything. My fans, you are the only thing left for me. Please, I need your help to get back on my feet, especially with accommodation,” Okemesi sobbed.
