If you thought Bolanle Ninalowo was only focused on breaking box office records and hitting the gym, think again. The Nollywood heavyweight, affectionately known as “Makanaki,” has officially traded the movie scripts for a political mantle.

Taking to his Instagram, the Picture Perfect star announced his appointment as the Atlanta, USA Coordinator for the advocacy group “Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria” (RTIFN).

Ninalowo shared an official RTIFN poster featuring his face alongside the All Progressives Congress (APC) logo, making it clear that he is ready to flex his influence in the United States.

“Honored to serve as Coordinator Atlanta/USA for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” the actor captioned the post, signaling his commitment to the administration’s vision.

This isn’t just a random appointment. RTIFN is an advocacy group founded by the President’s son, Seyi Tinubu, aimed at promoting the “Renewed Hope” agenda.

The move appears to be part of a massive celebrity-led strategy. Just hours before Ninalowo’s announcement, Seyi Tinubu was spotted presenting an appointment letter to billionaire businessman Obi Cubana, naming him the South-East Coordinator for the ‘City Boy Movement’—another group geared toward the 2027 re-election campaign.

By appointing Ninalowo, the group is clearly targeting the Nigerian diaspora in Georgia. Atlanta is a major hub for Nigerians in the U.S., and Ninalowo—who spends a significant amount of time there—is the perfect bridge to mobilize the community and spread the “Relax, He’s Fixing It” message.

From Obi Cubana in the East to Bolanle Ninalowo in the U.S., the strategy is clear: Star power is the new political currency. As we inch closer to 2027, expect to see more of your favorite A-listers switching from the red carpet to the campaign trail.
