My dear people of Egbeda State Constituency and fellow Nigerians, I, Hon. Yemi Bernard Olurinde, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for Egbeda State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, joyfully felicitate with you all on the occasion of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary. As we step into the month of October – our month of freedom and new beginnings – I thank Almighty God for preserving our nation and for His abundant grace upon the good and resilient people of Egbeda. Today, as we hoist our Green-White-Green flag, we celebrate not just our independence from colonial rule, but the indomitable spirit of the Nigerian people. For 66 years, we have weathered storms and recorded remarkable progress. We have every reason to be proud of our heritage and hopeful for our future. To my beloved people of Egbeda – Erunmu, Olode, Ayede, Alakia, Olodo, and all our communities – I say thank you. Thank you for your love, your prayers, and your unwavering support for our party, the APC. You are the reason I am committed to this journey of quality representation. As we celebrate, I urge us to remain united, peaceful, and committed to the Nigeria project. Let us continue to uphold the virtues of tolerance, hard work, and patriotism that our founding fathers stood for. I use this opportunity to reaffirm my commitment to the development of Egbeda State Constituency.
