The family of the famous gospel music duo, Adegbodu Twins, has been thrown into another round of distress following an armed robbery attack at their residence. The invasion occurred on Thursday, April 9, 2026, just eight days after the final burial rites for Taiwo Adegbodu, who passed away in March. Kehinde Adegbodu, the surviving twin, shared the news through a ten-minute video posted on his verified social media handle. He explained that the robbers stormed the house while he was away on a trip to Osogbo. According to his account, the intruders operated with startling confidence, even making a phone call in the presence of his family members to confirm his absence before proceeding with the raid. During the operation, the robbers reportedly searched for cash but eventually resorted to carting away personal belongings, including Kehinde’s clothes and other valuables. The singer expressed heartbreak over the timing of the attack, noting that the family is still heavily burdened by the recent loss of his brother. Addressing public assumptions regarding the family’s finances, Kehinde clarified that they are not in possession of large sums of money. He revealed that over ₦41 million donated by fans and colleagues following Taiwo’s death was used to settle burial expenses and fund an ongoing building project. He further stated that there is currently no significant cash at home or in his bank accounts. Kehinde appealed to the perpetrators and those monitoring the family to stop the targeted attacks, pleading for the opportunity to mourn his twin brother in peace. The incident has sparked concerns among fans and the entertainment community regarding the security of the grieving family during this difficult period. Post navigation DIDDY’S BABE!
