Popular Nollywood actress Ronke Odusanya has recounted a harrowing ordeal she and her daughter faced on Tuesday along the Ibadan–Oyo Expressway.

The actress, who was traveling to a movie set at Ibrahim Chatta’s Film Village, described the experience as “frightening” after her vehicle developed a mechanical fault on the busy highway.

According to the screen star, the drama began when a bolt on one of her car’s tyres suddenly snapped off. The mechanical failure caused the vehicle to shake violently and emit loud, disturbing noises, leaving the actress and her young daughter stranded.

Visibly shaken by the vulnerability of the situation, Odusanya revealed that the fear became overwhelming.

“One bolt went off, and my car was shaking and making noise. My daughter and I were the only ones in the car, and we started crying. Guys, it was a hell of a thing today,” she narrated.

Relief came in the form of three unidentified men whom the actress has since described as “angels in human form.” Odusanya explained that the men had initially driven past her vehicle but, sensing something was wrong, made a U-turn and returned to check on her. Alongside the actress’s brother, whom she had contacted for emergency assistance, the trio worked to fix the tyre and ensure the vehicle was roadworthy again.

Taking to her Instagram page to share an emotional video of the rescue, the actress praised the strangers for their selflessness and kindness in a time of distress.

“I thank God for His grace. We still have good people in Nigeria. May the name of the Lord be praised,” she wrote, urging her followers to help her thank the “three daddies” who came to her aid.

The actress confirmed she eventually continued her journey to the film village safely, attributing the positive outcome to divine intervention and the kindness of strangers.
