Femi Adebayo Honours Mother and Daughters, Omits Wife in Tributes

Is there fire on the mountain for one of Nollywood’s most celebrated couples? This is the question on the lips of fans after star actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo noticeably excluded his wife, Iyana Aduke, from his International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrations.

While the Jagun Jagun star took to social media to pen a glowing tribute to the “illustrious women” in his life, the glaring absence of the woman he calls his wife has set tongues wagging, reigniting rumors of a deep-seated marital rift.

On Sunday, March 8, to mark the global celebration of women, Adebayo shared a series of photos featuring his mother and his daughters. His caption was filled with poetic praise for their strength and resilience.

“To the beautiful and illustrious women in my life, the ones who inspire, nurture, and uplift – thank you for the light you bring into my world,” the actor wrote.

However, the “light” seemingly did not extend to Iyana Aduke. In a move that many fans labeled as a “loud silence,” there was no photo, no tag, and no mention of the mother of his youngest son.

The omission comes at a sensitive time for the couple. For months, the grapevine has been buzzing with allegations of trouble in paradise.

The comment section of the actor’s post quickly turned into an interrogation room. While some praised him for honoring his mother, others were quick to point out the snub.

“Beautiful photos, but where is Aduke? You can’t celebrate the women in your life and leave out your wife,” one follower commented.

Another added, “This silence is too loud. First the shop issue, now this. Femi, please tell us all is well at home.”

As of Monday afternoon, March 9, neither Femi Adebayo nor Iyana Aduke has addressed the growing speculation. In an industry where social media posts are often used to validate or debunk relationship rumors, many see this IWD snub as a confirmation that the couple may be living separate lives.
