Senator Binani Officially Receives ADC Membership Card

The political landscape of Adamawa State has reached a fever pitch as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) officially finalized the induction of Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani into its ranks.

In a ceremony that solidifies her departure from the ruling party, the ADC presented the former governorship candidate with her official membership card on Thursday. The party’s leadership took to social media to celebrate the move, describing Binani as a “champion of the people.”

“ADC warmly welcomes her and celebrates her commitment to the principles of transparency, inclusivity, and grassroots engagement. Together, we continue to strengthen our party and work towards a brighter, more united Nigeria,” the party stated via its official X handle.

Though the formal card presentation happened today, the ground shifted back in June 2025 when Binani—a massive force in Adamawa politics—first announced her exit from the All Progressives Congress (APC). This official induction marks the end of her transition period and the beginning of her journey as a key leader within the ADC.
