The family of late popular Yoruba gospel singer, Taiwo Adegbodu, has announced the funeral arrangements for the deceased musician.

Taiwo, who was one half of the famous Adegbodu Twins duo, passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 46.

According to a flier released by the family on Tuesday, the funeral activities will commence with an Artiste Night on Monday, March 30, at the Bollads Event Centre, New Garage, Akala Express, Ibadan, starting at 4:00 pm.

The final burial service is scheduled to take place at his private residence on Tuesday, March 31, at 10:00 am.

The late singer’s twin brother and music partner, Kehinde Adegbodu, had earlier confirmed the tragic news in a heart-wrenching social media post, which threw the gospel music industry into mourning.

The Adegbodu Twins became a sensation in the Nigerian gospel music scene following their debut album, Faratimi, in the late 1990s. They were well-known for their unique harmony and energetic performances.

The family has also opened an official channel for donations and support towards the funeral expenses. Contributions are to be sent to the Adegbodu Twins Production account at Fidelity Bank (6060195776).
