LAGOS — In a strong vote of confidence, the Chairman of the Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Muritala Mohammed, Airport Cargo Command, Lagos Hon. Bola Asiru-Balogun, has declared that President Bola Tinubu is actively steering the nation toward sustainable economic freedom. Asiru-Balogun, a veteran political mobilizer who founded the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Fronts (BATSOF) in 2003 for the 2nd term governorship ambition of then Governor Tinubu of Lagos and currently serves as the Coordinator of Tinubu 2027 (The Mandate Movement, Agege Chapter), cited the visible progress of the Renewed Hope Agenda as evidence of the President’s commitment to national growth. Speaking on the state of the nation, Asiru-Balogun emphasized that the current administration’s focus on youth empowerment, aggressive infrastructure development, and bold economic reforms is the catalyst needed to drive Nigeria’s prosperity. “The President’s initiatives are not just policies; they are a roadmap steering Nigeria towards genuine economic freedom,” he stated. The ANLCA boss also reserved high praise for the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, describing him as a political tactician with unprecedented acumen. Asiru-Balogun commended Obasa—who he refers to as the leader in his constituency—for backing good governance through effective legislation. “He is a great leader who understands the dynamics of politics,” Asiru-Balogun remarked, expressing confidence in the synergy between the federal and state leadership. In his New Year message to ANLCA members, the Chairman urged customs agents to prioritize peace and unity in their operations. He encouraged them to remain prayerful, assuring them that their desires for the sector would be fulfilled as the nation moves forward.
