The internet is currently on fire as socialite Folake Flakkyfaj has descended heavily on Comedian Princess, throwing major shade over her recent cry for a husband.

If you missed the first part of the gist, Princess recently made a viral video calling out popular clerics like Pastor Jerry Eze and Pastor Bolaji Idowu. She complained that she has been dropping comments on their posts about her single status, but people only laugh. She then took the bull by the horns, asking the pastors to drop handles of responsible men in their churches because she is ready to mingle!

Reacting to the video, Folake took to her Facebook page to “advise” the comedian, but the advice came with pepper! She boldly told Princess to pack her bags and go to Arab countries to find a husband, claiming that Nigerian men are too terrified to approach her.

Folake didn’t stop there o! She dug up the controversial Baba Ijesha case to back up her point. She used a deep Yoruba proverb to explain why men are running: “A person who uses a cap to kill an elephant receives praise only that day.”

She explained that while Princess might have been praised initially for fighting for justice, that same act has now instilled fear in men. Her logic? If a woman can “kill an elephant with a cap,” men start thinking she can easily harm a human being. According to Folake, the admiration has turned into fear, which is why suitors are nowhere to be found.

Many fans are dragging Folake, reminding her that Baba Ijesha was found guilty by a court of law and that Princess did the right thing by fighting for the victim. They accused Folake of victim-shaming.

  • Others are agreeing with the socialite, insisting that the drama surrounding the case was too much and might actually be scaring potential suitors away.

The matter is still unfolding, and we are here for the drama!
