…Calls for Investigation of Fintech Companies to Close Loopholes and Safeguard National Security
Satguru Maharaj Ji, leader of the One Love Family, has expressed support for former U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent warning of possible military action against jihadist groups and bandits operating in Nigeria, as well as their alleged elite sponsors.
In a press release dated December 15, 2025, Maharaj Ji described Trump’s warning as a necessary wake-up call following years of sectarian violence and widespread insecurity.
He alleged that certain powerful individuals, shielded within corridors of power, have continued to fuel unrest across the country.
The spiritual leader explicitly called for the arrest, interrogation, and prosecution of prominent individuals, including Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi and others he accused of involvement in sponsoring violent activities.
Maharaj Ji stated that Nigeria, home to the world’s largest Black population, should be a global pillar of strength but is instead being weakened by what he described as neo-colonial forces.
Echoing and expanding on Trump’s warning, he alleged that large sums of Western donor aid have been diverted to finance jihadist groups such as Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).
According to him, these funds are used to purchase property, arms, and ammunition, thereby fueling violence, unemployment, and ethnic tensions.
He further accused some Northern Nigerian elites of deliberately undermining national unity for personal or political gain.
Referencing his 1993 declaration of Nigeria as a “No War Zone,” Maharaj Ji claimed that his continued physical presence in Africa represents the “greatest insurmountable barrier” and “antidote” to what he described as plans for an “apocalyptic genocide.”
The statement also offered a sharp critique of Christianity and Islam, which Maharaj Ji described as foreign impositions and “opium for the masses” intended to suppress the spiritual essence of Black people.
He advocated a return to what he termed “Nucleus” African traditional practices, arguing that they are aligned with natural laws and provide genuine protection.
In a direct appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Maharaj Ji urged the Nigerian leader to act decisively and put humanitarian concerns above sentiment.
He advised the president to liaise with Donald Trump for intelligence support to expose jihadist enclaves, citing alleged cooperation between President Bill Clinton and Nigerian authorities during the Abacha era as precedent.
Maharaj Ji also proposed several domestic policy measures, including the establishment of new nationwide toll gates, the provision of vehicles to medical doctors, and urgent audits of property ownership and fintech companies to identify potential fronts for terrorist financing.
Additionally, he called on the Sultan of Sokoto to direct his followers to vacate illegally occupied territories and urged the federal government to screen Nigeria’s representatives in the ECOWAS Parliament to eliminate sympathies with bandits.
The statement concluded with both a spiritual assurance and a warning. Maharaj Ji pledged the support of “all the Gods and Goddesses” to President Tinubu but cautioned that Nigeria’s survival would require what he termed a karmic reckoning for “old jihadists and their hedonistic protégés.”
