Pastor Paul Adefarasin has expressed readiness for war, although he hopes Nigeria never faces such a situation. His remarks follow ongoing attacks by bandits, resulting in abductions and killings across the country.
Adefarasin described Nigeria as caught in a larger global conflict and stressed the need for effective planning and negotiation to eliminate terrorism. He warned against direct negotiations with terrorists, considering them inadvisable.

His comments reflect rising concerns over insecurity in Nigeria. Adefarasin stated, “I hope Nigeria doesn’t go to war, but I’m prepared if it does. The situation involves two global civilizations, and Nigeria is one of the fronts. I hope dialogue will succeed in removing terrorism from Nigeria permanently, but negotiating with terrorists is not the answer.
