IBADAN — Prominent Oyo State political stakeholder, Alhaji Olopoeniyan, has declared that members of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and allied grassroots structures across the state will cast their votes en masse for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

In a video circulating widely across various online platforms, Olopeiyan made the categorical assertion during a high-powered strategic stakeholders’ meeting held in Ibadan. The gathering brought together key political actors and community leaders from across the state, including the renowned entrepreneur, philanthropist, and chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Chief Dotun Sanusi.

Addressing party faithful and supporters predominantly in Yoruba, Olopeiyan emphasized that total commitment to national progress and the consolidation of progressive ideals supersedes partisan divisions. He maintained that President Tinubu’s administration deserves the backing of well-meaning stakeholders in the Pacesetter State to sustain development initiatives.

“We must all take responsibility and work together as a formidable family to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and ensure the success of our progressive ideals,” Olopeiyan stated to resounding applause. He reflected on the long-term struggles, sacrifices, and collective resilience invested by political actors over the years to build enduring democratic structures.

Directing attention to administrative preparedness ahead of upcoming electoral timelines, the political leader charged members to secure their credentials and complete necessary registrations before deadlines. “The time to act is now. Go and obtain your documents and ensure your registration is intact so we can present a unified front,” he admonished.

In his remarks, Chief Dotun Sanusi echoed the urgent call for peace, steadfastness, and brotherly love among stakeholders. Sanusi offered prayers for divine guidance, wisdom, and enduring unity, emphasizing that internal stability and total alignment with visionary leadership remain prerequisites for progressive development across Oyo State.

The strategic gathering concluded with unanimous resolutions, renewed solidarity pledges, and a collective commitment from grassroots leaders to mobilize support down to the polling booth levels ahead of 2027.
