The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Egbeda State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Yemi Bernard Olurinde, has joined the rest of the world to celebrate teachers on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day. Hon. Olurinde, in his congratulatory message, felicitated with teachers all over Nigeria, Oyo State, and particularly in Egbeda Local Government Area. He described teachers as nation builders and heroes whose sacrifices, patience and dedication remain the foundation of every profession and every society. According to him, “A teacher’s impact lasts forever. Every leader, doctor, engineer and legislator passed through the hands of a teacher. Our teachers deserve honour, better welfare and an enabling environment.” Hon. Olurinde saluted the courage and commitment of teachers in Egbeda, who continue to give their best despite the challenges confronting the education sector. He assured that as a legislator, he will prioritize educational development, teachers’ welfare, and improved infrastructure for schools in Egbeda Constituency.
