Daughter of late Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, Kira Taiwo, has paid an emotional visit to her father’s graveside, days after his death. Kira, who shared a photograph from the graveside on social media, expressed the depth of her grief while paying tribute to the veteran actor. In the emotional post, she said she was “chilling” with her father and wondered how she would attend Odunfa without him. She also prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive her father’s sins and shortcomings, while pledging her eternal love for him. “Chilling with my daddy. Just how I go to Odunfa when I miss him. I pray to Almighty Allah to forgive your sins and shortcomings, papa. You have all my love forever and always.” The emotional visit comes amid continued mourning by members of the actor’s family, friends and colleagues in the Nigerian entertainment industry. Following her father’s death, Kira had earlier shared details of their last conversation, revealing that Taiwo had urged his children to remain strong. According to her, the actor told them that their tears made him sad and assured them that he would stay and think, while admonishing them not to be afraid. Meanwhile, the family recently dismissed reports circulating online that Kira had welcomed a child shortly after her father’s burial. Her younger sister, Lima, described the report as false and appealed to members of the public to stop spreading unverified information about the family, particularly while they were still grieving. The family has continued to receive condolences from colleagues, friends and fans of the late actor following his passing. Taiwo Hassan was also known for his close relationship with his children. In a message to Kira two years ago as she transitioned into motherhood, the actor expressed his pride in her and promised to remain her “rock, confidant and biggest supporter.” His death has continued to generate reactions across the Yoruba movie industry, with fans remembering his contributions to Nollywood and his enduring legacy on screen. Kira’s latest visit to his graveside has, however, offered a poignant glimpse into the personal grief being experienced by the family as they come to terms with the loss of their father.
