Social media users have reacted after the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi, honoured Nollywood actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka with a brand-new car, luxurious gifts and a chieftaincy title.

The actor, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, took to his social media page to appreciate the revered monarch for the warm reception, fatherly support and generosity extended to him and his wife.

Expressing gratitude, he revealed that he was conferred with the title of Baba Awada Konge Oduwa, describing the honour as a memorable moment in his life.

The development, however, triggered widespread reactions online, with many netizens sharing mixed opinions over the royal recognition.

Some supporters celebrated the actor’s latest achievement, insisting that no one can stand in the way of divine blessings.

Others referenced actress Princess and filmmaker Iyabo Ojo in their comments, with one user writing in Yoruba, “Ori wọn ma gbona wa,” loosely translated as, “Their heads will be hot over this.”
