Popular Nigerian TikToker, Olumide Ogunsanwo, widely known as Sea King, has fiercely called out Ibadan-based Yoruba Nation agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly called Sunday Igboho, over his perceived silence in the wake of escalating bandit attacks and daring abductions rocking Oyo State.

The social media influencer’s outburst comes on the heels of the horrifying mass abduction of teachers and students at Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, which occurred on Friday, May 15, 2026.

Public outrage intensified following reports that the bandits ruthlessly beheaded one of the captured teachers, identified as Michael Oyedokun, on Sunday, May 17. The terrorists subsequently released a gruesome video of the execution alongside a heart-wrenching clip of the school principal pleading frantically with the government to meet the gunmen’s demands to guarantee the safety of the remaining captives.

Reacting to the devastating developments in a video shared via his Instagram page on Tuesday, Sea King strongly rebuked Sunday Igboho for keeping mute despite his historical stance and vehement promises to wipe out banditry and criminal herders from the length and breadth of Yoruba land.

The TikToker boldly characterized Igboho’s current reticence as “politics,” asserting that the fearlessness the agitator once possessed seems to have waned since his friction with the federal government was resolved. “Silence after a presidential pardon isn’t bravery,” Sea King declared.

Directly tagging the freedom fighter’s official social media handle, Ogunsanwo questioned the location and commitment of the agitator. He recalled Igboho’s past absolute support for President Bola Tinubu and his previous vows to lead a 50,000-man march to flush out killer herders from the region. He challenged Igboho to show action now that the local communities are facing severe terror, alleging that his silence suggests he may have compromised his original stance.

The public confrontation comes just three months after Sunday Igboho’s name was officially removed from the Federal Government’s wanted list under the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

It would be recalled that Igboho recently made a high-profile return to his Ibadan base after spending nearly five years in exile. His flight from the country followed a deadly midnight raid on his Soka residence in Ibadan by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) in July 2021, during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari, over his aggressive agitation for the self-determination of the Yoruba Nation.
