ANITA Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has revealed the reasons behind her single status, asserting that she is yet to encounter a partner who meets her standards. The reality TV star and entrepreneur, often described as a resilient force in the Nigerian entertainment industry, made this known in an exclusive interview where she reflected on her life, career, and the misconceptions trailing her personality since her exit from the Big Brother Naija house. Speaking on her love life, the Port Harcourt-born celebrity noted that while she has had men in her life, finding her purpose remains her primary focus. “I’m actually single for now. And that’s because I don’t think I’ve met the right guy who would make me not want to be single anymore,” she stated. Addressing the “wild” image often associated with her following her controversial disqualification from the 2019 “Pepper Dem” edition of BBNaija, Tacha argued that the show’s portrayal was a mere fraction of her true character. “Anybody would be very foolish to actually judge me or draw conclusions about me from 10 percent of my personality. Ten percent can never define me,” she said, adding that many of the negative narratives were created by detractors to “feed” their audiences. Reflecting on her recent record-breaking feat, Tacha disclosed that she returned to Nigeria from the United Kingdom to break two Guinness World Records for cosmetic makeover sessions to prove a point about the capability of the Nigerian woman. “I didn’t want to break a Guinness World Record outside Nigeria. The message of me breaking that record back home is to prove that Nigerian women can do whatever they put their minds to achieve,” she explained. Dismissing rumors that she fled the UK due to high living costs, Tacha emphasized her status as a global influencer who travels for content creation. She is currently preparing to launch her cosmetic line, Tacha Beauty, and an accompanying academy this September, aimed at empowering young Nigerians. The reality star, who described herself as the “most hardworking black woman on planet Earth, concluded by identifying her biggest “red flag” in a man: “I don’t like men who talk too much.
