Fuji King, K1 De Ultimate, drops ‘Heavy’ Prayer for Carter Efe ahead of Celebrity Boxing Match (Video)

The tension ahead of the highly anticipated celebrity boxing bout between skit maker Carter Efe and street-pop sensation Portable has reached a fever pitch following a surprise encounter with the Fuji legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (K1 De Ultimate).

In a viral video currently breaking the Nigerian internet, Carter Efe accidentally ran into the ‘Olori Omoba’ himself at a luxury hotel just as the music icon was preparing to depart.

DAILY POST reports that K1 De Ultimate has officially confirmed he will be ringside to witness the clash of the titans, adding a massive layer of prestige to the showdown.

The highlight of the meeting was not just the handshake but the “loaded” prayer K1 offered to Carter Efe. In a moment of humor mixed with the reality of the impending fight, the Fuji King was heard praying for the skit maker’s safety.

“Make Portable no kpai (kill) you o!” K1 joked while tapping Carter on the shoulder, a statement that has since triggered thousands of hilarious reactions from fans of both camps.

Carter Efe, looking visibly starstruck, was seen blushing and nodding as the Fuji legend offered his blessings, further solidifying the buzz surrounding the fight.

Not one to stay silent, the ‘Zazuu’ crooner, Portable, has already taken to his Instagram story to react to the video. Known for his “Tony Montana” persona, Portable warned Carter Efe that no amount of prayers from “Baba” (K1) would save him from the punches he has prepared.

Netizens have flooded the comment sections with memes, with many pointing out that K1’s prayer sounds more like a “warning” than a blessing.

• @OmoIbadan: “Even K1 knows Portable is a ‘mad’ man on the field. Carter, abeg wear helmet!”
• @FujiLover: “Seeing K1 at the boxing match? This is the biggest entertainment event of 2026 already!”
• @ZazuuFan: “Portable doesn’t need prayers, he needs a cage! Carter is in trouble.”

GISTLIFE recalls that the rift between Carter Efe and Portable started over royalties and “Machala” rights, but it seems the boxing ring is where the final ‘receipts’ will be settled.
