Popular Nigerian musicians, Pheelz and Khaid, have been reportedly robbed of their valuables in Los Angeles, California.

The incident, which occurred on Thursday night, saw the singers losing several high-value items after their vehicle, a Range Rover, was broken into by unidentified hoodlums.

Confirming the incident via their respective social media handles on Friday, the artists shared harrowing footage of the vandalized vehicle, showing shattered glass and ransacked compartments.

Khaid, visibly distraught, revealed that the robbers made away with his international passport, laptop, and bank cards. Most devastatingly, he noted that his hard drive containing years of unreleased music was stolen.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) account, Khaid wrote:

“Just got fing robbed in Cali, my passport to travel, my laptop, my fing hardrive. All my f*ing songs . Ahhh I gotta stay WACKO.”

On his part, Pheelz, known for the global hit “Finesse,” described the experience as one of the most chaotic nights of his life, expressing gratitude for his safety despite the loss.

“Got robbed in Cali wtf. Thank God for life . One of the craziest nights of my life for sure. Kashamadupe,” Pheelz posted.

The robbery has sparked reactions from fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry, with many expressing concern over the rising cases of “smash-and-grab” incidents targeting tourists and celebrities in major US cities.

As of the time of filing this report, it remains unclear if the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has made any arrests or if the stolen items have been recovered.

The loss of the hard drives is seen as a significant blow to the artists, as it contains intellectual property and upcoming projects that may now be delayed or lost forever.
