Just when we thought the drama of the 2023 elections was over, Daniel Bwala, the Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Policy Communication, has dropped a massive “sub” for the opposition. In a fresh interview with OAP Daddy Freeze, Bwala revealed some “cloak and dagger” moves involving former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Peter Obi. If you thought Obasanjo was neutral back then, Bwala says: “Think again!” Bwala narrated a dramatic scene at the Hilton in London during the build-up to the 2023 polls. He claimed he received a phone call from a number he didn’t recognize. When he asked who was speaking, the voice on the other end simply said: “My name is Obasanjo.” > “He called me and said, ‘I’m calling you to come and join me.’ At that time, he was denying that he was behind Peter Obi’s agenda,” Bwala revealed. Bwala didn’t stop there. He claimed that Peter Obi himself, alongside his running mate Datti Baba-Ahmed, specifically approached him to work for their campaign.
