Omo, the vawulence is plenty! Popular content creator and singer Nasboi is not smiling at all with these Nigerian blogs and radio stations. In a series of hot posts, the “Lover Boy” crooner revealed he actually ghosted interviews and podcasts for a whole year because of the “follow-follow” clickbait culture that is almost ruining his career.

Nasboi gave a perfect example of how these “audio” headlines work. He said he was asked if Davido is his “guy,” and he gave a very respectful answer, saying: “No, he is my boss”.

But trust these blogs to do their thing! Instead of posting the full gist, they cut it to: “Davido isn’t my guy”. Nasboi is asking why they chose to cut out the part that gives the statement its real meaning just to get traction.

It didn’t end there! Nasboi also pointed out how they tried to set him up with the Starboy fans. He was simply saying that music is subjective—that even if you are Burna Boy, Wizkid, or Davido, not everyone will like your music.

Next thing he knew, he woke up to see: “Not everyone likes Wizkid’s music”. Talk about an extreme sport!

Nasboi didn’t even hide faces; he tagged @Naija102FM directly, telling them to stop being selfish by chasing clicks without caring about the damage it causes. He’s calling for a little responsibility in how interviews are edited and posted to save everyone from “unnecessary misunderstanding”.

The “Gist” is clear: Nasboi is back, and he is watching everyone with a 4K lens! “Una go see me again,” he warned.

Gistlife Fam, do you think our Nigerian blogs are doing too much with the clickbait? Drop your comments below!
