Popular Nollywood actress Bimpe Oyebade, famously known as Mo Bimpe, and her husband, Lateef Adedimeji, have once again proven their dominance in the Nigerian film industry by bagging three major awards at the recently concluded Emperor Awards.

The actress took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to share the excitement, revealing that her hard work and that of her team had been recognized in a big way.

According to the star, the hit historical epic Lisabi, which she co-produced with her husband, clinched the Digital Movie of the Year award. The film, which recently dominated the AMVCAs, continues to receive critical acclaim for its portrayal of Egba history.

In addition to the Lisabi win, Mo Bimpe’s other major project, Iyawo Alhaji, secured two significant trophies. The actress herself walked away with the Nollywood Actress in a Lead Role award, while her co-star, Adeniyi Johnson, bagged the Nollywood Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in the same movie.

“Such a beautiful feeling to be recognised for your hard work! A huge thank you to Emperor Awards for this incredible honour,” Mo Bimpe wrote. “We truly appreciate this recognition; it means so much to us, and we won’t stop working hard and creating beautiful movies.”

The actress also used the medium to appreciate her husband, Lateef Adedimeji, for his unwavering support, and the Governor of Ekiti State for his belief in her creative journey.

The Adedimejis have had a stellar 12 months, with Lisabi ranking as one of the most-searched Nigerian films of 2024 and 2025, and Lateef earning his first AMVCA lead actor nomination recently.
