In a rare moment of vulnerability, veteran Nollywood comic actor Olaniyi Afonja, popularly known as Sanyeri, has opened up about his deepest professional regret: failing to prioritize his education during his formative years. Speaking on the program Behind The Fame on Saturday, the Oyo State-born actor admitted that his perspective on schooling was flawed as a youth, a realization that has now led him to re-enroll in formal studies. Sanyeri reflected on his childhood, noting that many children mistakenly view education as a burden imposed by parents rather than a tool for personal destiny. “When children are in school, they think education is for their parents, not realizing it is for their own future,” the actor stated. “Back then, it felt like punishment because I did not see its value.” The actor confirmed he is not just talking about the past but is actively taking action to bridge the gap. He revealed he has taken steps to continue his studies and is currently awaiting results, emphasizing that “learning has no age limit.” Post navigation Breaking: Gospel Singer, Taiwo Adegbodu Is Dead Faithia Williams Unveils Official Burial Dates for Mrs. Gloria Williams
