Davido has opened up about how marriage and maturity have completely shifted his lifestyle, admitting that the days of hitting the club every single night are behind him.

In a candid chat on a recent episode of The Long Form podcast, the superstar reflected on his wilder days. He confessed that achieving fame, money, and freedom at such a young age made him “very reckless,” a phase where daily clubbing was the norm.

Fast forward to today, and OBO’s priorities have changed. Davido revealed that following his marriage to his longtime love, Chioma, he now prioritizes sleep and family time over leisure partying.

“I was in Nigeria for almost two months and I didn’t go out,” Davido shared. “I was just at home and I was having fun. I was just chilling in my studio, and inviting people to make barbecue for me.”

For those wondering how he handles nights away from home, Davido dropped a detail that has fans swooning. He explained that even when he’s up late working or chilling with friends until 3:00 or 4:30 AM, the night ends in one way:

“I just go home, call my wife, sleep off on FaceTime.”

Davido clarified that he hasn’t retired from the scene completely. He still steps out to honor invitations from close friends and, of course, for paid gigs (because the bag must be secured 💰). But when it comes to going out just for “fun”? He’d rather be home.
