The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for Oluyole State and Federal Constituencies, Barr. Lawal Akeem Ishola, popularly known as Oriyomi-Oluyole, and Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, have continued their grassroots engagements with a visit to Ward 5, Idi-Ayunre, in Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State. The visit forms part of the ongoing campaign tour by the two candidates as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum across the state. Ishola, the APC candidate for the Oluyole State Constituency seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly, and Akande-Sadipe, the party’s candidate for Oluyole Federal Constituency, met with party leaders, stakeholders, members and residents during the visit. The engagement provided an opportunity for direct interaction with residents and party members, as well as discussions on issues affecting communities across the local government. The two candidates have continued to take their campaign activities to different wards in Oluyole, with the latest visit to Idi-Ayunre marking another step in their ongoing grassroots outreach. The tour is also aimed at strengthening relationships with party structures and creating opportunities for stakeholders and residents to communicate their expectations on representation and community development. Issues relating to infrastructure, the needs of local communities and the expectations of residents remain central to political engagements across the local government as preparations for the 2027 elections continue. The visit to Ward 5 is part of the candidates’ wider consultations across Oluyole as the APC intensifies its grassroots political activities ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
