ISTANBUL — Stefanie Kim Ladewig, the eight-month pregnant partner of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, has reportedly escaped injury after being involved in a three-vehicle road crash in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Ladewig, 26, was said to be in good condition and was discharged from hospital after undergoing precautionary medical examinations following the accident.

According to reports by Türkiye Today, citing the Demirören News Agency (DHA), the crash occurred at about 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, within Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district.

The report stated that Ladewig was driving an SUV when she reportedly entered a bend and collided with a light commercial vehicle driven by a person identified as Paris T.

The impact allegedly caused her SUV to lose control before crashing into another SUV travelling in the opposite direction.

The incident involved two SUVs and a light commercial vehicle. All three vehicles reportedly sustained damage, but no injuries were recorded at the scene.

Given her advanced pregnancy, Ladewig was taken to a private hospital in the Maslak area of Istanbul’s Sariyer district for precautionary medical checks.

She was subsequently discharged after the examinations and was reported to be in good condition. However, the reports did not provide further details about the condition of her unborn child.

Ladewig, who was born in Berlin, Germany, works as a model and shares fashion and beauty content on social media. She and Osimhen were pictured together at the AIC Oscar del Calcio Awards in 2023.

Osimhen, 27, is a Nigerian international striker who plays for Turkish club Galatasaray.

The footballer was not reported to have been involved in the crash.
