Team Arapaja Joins APC in Ibadan Southwest, Vows Massive Grassroots Mobilisation

It was a carnival-like atmosphere in Ibadan Southwest Local Government as Team Arapaja, led by Hon. Muniru Apampa, formally joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The delegation was received by the APC House of Assembly candidate for Ibadan Southwest, Hon. Tolani Adigun, and the Local Government Chairman, Hon. Joseph Omoniyi, alongside other party leaders and stakeholders.

Prominent Team Arapaja members at the event included Hon. Wasiu Adeleke, Mrs. Adenike Ajani, Mrs. Oluwakemi Akinbami, Prof. Bayo Fasasi and Hon. Gbolagade Akeem Lawal.

Speaking at the event, Apampa said the group’s decision was based on its confidence in the Arapaja political movement and its commitment to working within the APC platform. He pledged aggressive grassroots mobilisation in collaboration with other stakeholders to support Hon. Tolani Adigun, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, Hon. Remi Oseni and other APC candidates.

He said the Ibadan Southwest development was part of the wider movement of Team Arapaja members into the APC across Oyo State.

Receiving the group, Hon. Tolani Adigun welcomed the new members and called for unity and cooperation among APC stakeholders in Ibadan Southwest.

Also speaking, APC Local Government Chairman Hon. Joseph Omoniyi assured the new members of equal participation, stressing that the party belongs to everyone.

“There is no newcomer in APC. The party belongs to all of us, and everyone has a role to play in building the party.”

In his remarks, Hon. Sunday Babalola commended Arapaja’s political experience and grassroots network, describing the integration of his supporters into the APC as an opportunity for stronger collaboration among stakeholders.

The event ended with renewed commitments to grassroots mobilisation and cooperation among Team Arapaja members and existing APC structures in Ibadan Southwest.
