The All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for Egbeda State Constituency, Hon. Yemi Bernard Olurinde, on continued his ward-to-ward familiarization tour with a visit to APC Ward 7 in Egbeda Local Government ahead of the campaign season. The tour is aimed at consulting with party leaders and members across all wards in the local government ahead of the 2027 general elections. Addressing the gathering at Ward 7, Hon. Olurinde emphasized the need for reconciliation and unity within the party. He said he had reached out to other aspirants who contested with him during the primary election that produced him as the candidate. Hon. Olurinde appreciated Ward 7 leaders for their support and urged party leaders and members to remain united ahead of the 2027 general election. He also commended Hon. Tope Olawoyin for her sportsmanship during the APC primary election, describing her conduct as exemplary and in the best interest of the party. Party leaders and members present at the meeting welcomed Hon. Olurinde and expressed optimism that the unity drive would strengthen the APC in Egbeda Local Government.
