• AI-powered initiative to provide free digital learning for students across Oyo South The member representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District, Hon. Remi Oseni, is set to deepen his education intervention programme with the launch of the ROSMA Legacy Hub, an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered learning platform designed to improve teaching and learning across Oyo South. The initiative, which will provide free access to digital learning for eligible students in the nine Local Government Areas of Oyo South, is aimed at improving performance in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) while equipping learners with essential digital skills for the future. According to the organisers, the ROSMA Legacy Hub is part of Oseni’s continued investment in education and human capital development, leveraging technology to create equal opportunities for students irrespective of their socio-economic background. The learning centres will feature state-of-the-art smart classrooms equipped with interactive smart boards, AI-assisted learning systems, digital course materials and structured WAEC preparation modules designed to enhance students’ academic performance. Beyond examination preparation, beneficiaries will have access to personalised learning experiences, instant corrections, step-by-step solutions to examination questions, gamified learning and digital literacy training to prepare them for higher education and the evolving global workforce. The organisers said the initiative was conceived to bridge the digital divide in public education by exposing students to innovative teaching methods and emerging technologies that are shaping classrooms across the world. They noted that the project reflects Hon. Oseni’s belief that access to quality education should not be limited by financial constraints, stressing that the platform would be offered to eligible students at no cost. Ahead of the official launch, students have been encouraged to visit the ROSMA Legacy Hub Centres in their respective Local Government Areas to obtain their access credentials and complete registration before the commencement of the programme. The organisers expressed optimism that the initiative would significantly improve learning outcomes, increase students’ confidence in tackling external examinations and expose them to modern digital tools that support independent learning. They added that the ROSMA Legacy Hub complements Hon. Oseni’s broader education support initiatives, which have focused on expanding learning opportunities and empowering young people across his constituency and Oyo South. According to the organisers, the AI-powered platform is expected to set a new benchmark for community-based educational interventions by combining smart classroom technology, digital innovation and student-centred learning to prepare beneficiaries for academic excellence and future career opportunities.
