Drama as Linus Williams, famously known as B-Lord, finds himself behind bars after a messy legal showdown with social media critic, VeryDarkMan. The “billionaire” lifestyle of Nigerian cryptocurrency tycoon, Linus Williams Ifejirika (B-Lord), has taken a dramatic detour to the Kuje Correctional Centre. A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered that the tech entrepreneur be remanded in prison following his arraignment on Thursday, April 1, 2026. Kemi Filani News gathered that B-Lord was dragged before the court on a multi-count charge bordering on impersonation and forgery. The legal firestorm began after VeryDarkMan (Martins Otse) raised an alarm, accusing the crypto mogul of using his name and face to chase “clout” and promote his business apps without permission. According to VeryDarkMan, B-Lord allegedly went as far as forging flight tickets in Martins Otse’s name to claim he was visiting Onitsha for a business launch. He is also accused of lying about a N500 million deal, claiming he had signed the critic as a brand ambassador, and plastering billboards and fliers with VeryDarkMan’s face to deceive the public into using his “Billpoint” and “Blunt Gadget” apps. Taking to Instagram to celebrate the court’s decision, VeryDarkMan shared a video of the moment B-Lord was whisked away to prison. He revealed that the businessman would be spending 26 days in custody, effectively confirming that the “Crypto King” will be spending his Easter holidays in Kuje. ”He printed a billboard with my face on it and claimed I was his ambassador without my permission… All of these are false,” VeryDarkMan stated. While B-Lord’s fans are in shock, the court has made it clear that the law is no respecter of “crypto wealth.” The case has been adjourned, leaving the businessman to swap his designer outfits for prison gear—at least for now!
