The “Gist” is heating up, and this time, it’s a story of pure heart and “ginger!” While many people are looking for any “Japa” route available, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a popular cleric from Plateau State, has shocked everyone by saying a big “No” to luxury and safety abroad.

The Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi opened up about how he was offered mouth-watering asylum deals to relocate to Australia, Austria, and other parts of Europe.

In a move that has left many inspired, Rev. Dachomo told his story during a recent interview, explaining why he’s staying put. For him, leaving Nigeria means abandoning his “flock” (his church members) who are also facing these same dangers.

“I’ve been offered asylum in Australia, Austria and other countries, but I said no. I am going nowhere… Even if it costs me my life, I will remain here with my people.”

He made it clear that he isn’t afraid of those threatening him; instead, he believes they should be the ones afraid!
