The countdown has officially begun for what is being described as the most anticipated female-centric gathering in Ibadan this year. The TBC (The Big Conversation) Conference 2026 is set to take over the prestigious Dominion House, Palmgrove Estate, Iyaganku, on March 14th, 2026, promising a transformative experience for women across Oyo State. Themed around empowerment and liberation, the conference aims to provide participants with the “wings to fly” beyond the common shackles of poverty and restrictive family issues that often hinder female potential in the region. The visionary behind the movement, Ronke Giwa-Onafuwa, who serves as the General Manager of the Dominion Broadcast Group, has announced a strategic evolution for the brand. After years of sparking dialogue on television, The Big Conversation is stepping off the screen and into the lives of women from all walks of life. According to Giwa-Onafuwa, the conference represents a pivotal moment for the state. “The landscape of female leadership in Nigeria is about to witness a seismic shift,” she stated, noting that the goal is to foster a radical mindshift that translates into real-world leadership and economic independence The TBC 2026 experience, slated for Saturday, March 14, is curated to address the holistic needs of the modern Nigerian woman: Empowerment Beyond Poverty: Practical sessions on financial literacy and wealth creation. The Mindshift Blueprint: Masterclasses focused on mental resilience and breaking generational cycles. Wings to Fly: Networking and mentorship opportunities with established female leaders in media, business, and governance. With the event expected to draw a massive crowd to Iyaganku on March 14th, organizers have urged interested women to register early. The conference is positioned as a clarion call for every woman in Oyo State ready to redefine her story and claim her seat at the table of leadership.
