The Police Service Commission (PSC) and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) have officially announced the commencement of the physical and credential screening exercise for the recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables across the federation.

The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, DIG Hashimu Salihu Argungu (rtd), emphasized that the recruitment process is absolutely free of charge.

He warned applicants to stay away from online impostors and scammers promising to influence the process for a fee.

“The process will be conducted in the best tradition of transparency and accountability. Anyone found wanting will be arrested and prosecuted,” Argungu stated.

The screening will take place at designated locations within each State and the FCT as indicated on individual invitation printouts.
