Sowore still in custody despite court’s order.

Why does Sowore’s case seems so complicated?

Omoyele Sowore,the publisher of Sahara Reporters,2019 Presidential candidate of AAC,activist and Convener of #RevolutionNow who has remained in custody of Department of State Services (DSS) for treasonable felony has remained in custody despite court’s order to release him.
Yesterday,November 6,2019,Sowore’s lawyers they have met the bail conditions ordered by court,everyone expected to be out by now.


Despite meeting the bail conditions, Sowore and his co-defendant,Olawale Bakare are still in custody after Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of the Federal high court Abuja had ordered their release yesterday.

Peter Afunnaya,the spokesperson of the DSS told Channel television that the service was yet to be informed that Sowore has met the bail conditions-two sureties who are residents in Abuja and #100m-as said by the court.

Sowore’s counsel,Femi Falana has told Channels Television that lawyers from his team and court bailiffs would go to the DSS office this morning to request the release of the two.

However,the trial of Sowore and Bakare was adjourned to ,December 5th and December 6th of this year.
