Omoyele Sowore rejects Apostle Suleiman to stand as his surety.
Former presidential candidate of African Action Congress AAC in 2019 election,activist,publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore has rejected the offer made by President of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide,Apostle Johnson Suleiman to stand as surety.
Sowore was detained on the count charge of treason-trying to overthrow the present regime-Buhari’s regime as he convene #RevolutionNow.
In court,the judge asked him to provide two sureties who lives in Abuja and #100m as bail conditions.
Apostle Suleiman recently offered to stand as surety for the activist even though Sowore has “hurt him in the past.”
The legal team of Sowore speaking through his lawyer,Inibehe Effiong told newsmen that they will not consider the clergyman’s offer as he was not eligible to stand as surety because he is not a resident in Abuja.
The lawyer also said the offer will not be considered nor accepted as the two had had public altercation as a result of public interest.
Effiong further the they are in the process of perfecting the bail as the Federal Government has made it difficult to meet the conditions of the bail as it was politicized.
Sowore had published in a report through his platform and accused the apostle of engaging in extramarital affairs with a woman known as Stephanie Otobo.
Sowore has been in the custody of Department of States Services DSS since august 2,2019.
