Barcelona held to a goalless draw by a Slavia as pressure mounts on Valverde
It was another uninspiring results for the Catalans on UEFA Champions League matchday 4 as they played a goalless draw with Slavia Prague.
Barcelona tried to ease the pressure on their battled coach Ernesto Valverde but Slavia Prague claimed a point at the Nou Camp with causes increasing tensions among the Home fans.
Slavia Prague think they have taken the lead at the end of the half hour mark as Masopust pokes the ball past ter Stegen on the rebound after his initial header was saved, but the linesman has his flag raised for offside.
Lionel Messi tried to be the savior of his team but all was futile as he hit the frame of the goal on 35 minutes, but he was frequently frustrated by the excellent Ondrej Kolar in the Slavia goal.
Barca still sits top of the Group F table with eight points but Valverde’s men still have work to do to progress from Group F.
