The announcement titled: “2023: Count Me Out of the Distraction – Senator Ibikunle Amosun” peruses: “My consideration has quite recently been attracted to a notice, proposing I had tossed my cap into the 2023 Presidential race.
“It certainly gives a false representation of rationale that such a move would be my distraction or in any capacity connected to me, when in fact I have not gone through a year in my present task as the Senator speaking to Ogun Central District.
“It’s implied that anybody nursing a Presidential aspiration at a time President Muhammadu Buhari has quite recently started to merge on the achievements of his first term, isn’t just an adversary of the Nigerian State, however obviously doesn’t want any useful for Mr President.
“The notice and any of such production is only sheer interruption.
“As a Senator, my hands are full and I am focused on working with individual nationalists on how best to push our country ahead by supporting and working with President Buhari.
“There is a period for everything. An opportunity to address 2023 is obviously not anyplace close.”
