Almeria appoints Real Madrid legend Guti as their new Head Coach
Almeria has turn to Real Madrid Legend María Gutiérrez Hernández popularly known as Guti to be their Head Coach.
This will be the Spanish first career as the Head Coach of a professional team after he spent time in the youth system at Real Madrid, as well as being assistant to Senol Gunes at Besiktas.
During his career, the 43 year old Spainish Attacking Midfielder played almost exclusively for Real Madrid appearing in 542 official games and serving as vice-captain helping the club to win 15 trophies, most notably three Champions League titles and five La Liga championships. He also competed professionally in Turkey, with Beşiktaş.
Almeria currently sits at the Second place of the Spanish Segunda Division with 24points with 14matches played.
Guti will take charge of the Tuesday training session this afternoon with his first match in charge will be against 5th place Real Zaragoza.
