Oluyole APC Candidate Applauds National Chairman, Calls for Collective Action Ahead of Election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Oluyole State Constituency, Barr. Lawal Akeem Ishola, has commended the party’s National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, for his timely intervention and reconciliation efforts aimed at strengthening the APC in Oyo State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Ishola described Yilwatda’s message that unity remains critical to the APC’s success in reclaiming Oyo State as timely and instructive, urging party members to place the collective interest of the party above individual differences.

According to him, while disagreements may arise, particularly following party primaries, such differences should not be allowed to undermine the APC’s shared commitment to the progress of the party and the people of Oyo State.

He also commended the Oyo State APC Reconciliation Committee, under the guidance of its Co-Chairman, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin, for its continued efforts to unite party leaders, stakeholders, aspirants and members.

Ishola said reconciliation, mutual respect and collective purpose would strengthen the party’s structures and enhance its chances of victory in 2027.

“The task before us is bigger than individual interests. Our focus must be on building a united APC, strengthening our structures and presenting a credible alternative to the people of Oyo State,” he said.

The Oluyole State Constituency candidate consequently called on APC leaders, stakeholders, aspirants and members across the state to embrace the spirit of reconciliation championed by the National Chairman.

He added: “When we stand together, we are stronger. When we work together, victory is within reach.”

Ishola reaffirmed his commitment to the unity, progress and electoral success of the APC in Oyo State.
