The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol, to N1,075 per litre.

The latest reduction, announced on Thursday, is the fourth by the refinery in the last one month as crude oil prices continue to ease in the international market.

The company said the fresh cut brings the cumulative reduction in petrol prices to over N200 per litre since May.

Dangote Refinery also lowered the prices of diesel and Jet A1 aviation fuel by N300 and N520 per litre respectively.

According to the company, the move is aimed at ensuring Nigerians benefit from favourable market conditions while strengthening local refining and energy security.

The refinery maintained that increased domestic production would continue to reduce dependence on fuel imports and provide greater price stability for consumers nationwide.
