In a major push for economic self-reliance and grassroots political strengthening, the DACOF Vocational and Training Centre has formally announced the commencement of a comprehensive free vocational training program alongside the ongoing renovation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat in Ibadan North East.

The vocational initiative, spearheaded by the Demilade Akin-Alabi Committee of Friends (DACOF), is strategically designed to address the growing demand for specialized labor within Oyo State. According to official details, the curriculum offers intensive training in modern technical fields such as solar and inverter installation, computer literacy, and agribusiness with a focus on beekeeping. Beyond the technical sectors, the center is also admitting students for professional courses in tailoring and fashion design, makeup artistry, hairdressing, and catering.

Complementing this human capital development is the physical transformation of the APC structure in the local government. The ongoing renovation of the APC Secretariat in Ibadan North East, fully sponsored and powered by Hon. (Dr.) Demilade Akin-Alabi, stands as a testament to proactive leadership and a commitment to creating a conducive environment for party activities and grassroots mobilization.

Party faithfuls have described the project as a move that reflects a visionary dedication to the progress of the people, prioritizing practical action over empty promises. By upgrading the secretariat, the lawmaker, who represents Ibadan North East Constituency II, aims to strengthen party unity and provide a befitting space for consultations and community engagement.

The dual-purpose initiative is being coordinated from the Hon. (Dr.) Demilade Akin-Alabi Constituency Office, located opposite Ile Marun, Iwo Road. Backed significantly by the Remi Oseni Committee of Friends (ROCOF), the project signals a collaborative effort toward impactful community service under the “Imole De” banner ahead of 2027. Prospective participants for the training programs are encouraged to visit the constituency office or contact the administration via official digital channels to complete their registration.
