The “bad boys” in Taraba State are currently having a very bad week! Troops from Operation WHIRL STROKE (OPWS) have successfully nabbed two suspected kidnappers who have been making life difficult for residents in the Wukari Local Government Area.

It was a classic “intelligence move” that saw the military outsmarting the criminals right in their own backyard.

The action started on Wednesday morning when the troops raided Arufu Village. They picked up the first suspect, who initially tried to act like a “good citizen” by denying everything.

But as the saying goes, “99 days for the thief, one day for the owner.” After some “serious” questioning, the suspect finally cracked and confessed that he was part of the gang behind the kidnappings that happened back in February.

Once the first guy started talking, it was game over for his partner!

Both suspects are currently “cooling their heels” in military custody. They are being grilled to find out who else is in their gang and where they hide their victims.

The military is sending a loud message: If you’re planning any “business” in Taraba, you better think twice because the troops are watching!
