The rollercoaster romance between Street-pop sensation Portable and Queen Dami, the widow of the late Alaafin of Oyo, has taken a dark and litigious turn. The “Zazuu” crooner has issued a chilling warning to the former Queen, threatening to release “personal videos” recorded via his home surveillance system.

What started as a whispered affair has devolved into a full-blown digital war, with Portable alleging that he didn’t just have a relationship with Queen Dami, but with her inner circle of friends as well.

In a series of heated videos posted on Sunday, Portable claimed that Queen Dami was often “too scared” to visit his residence alone, frequently bringing her female friends along for company.

The singer didn’t hold back, alleging that these group visits led to multiple affairs.

“You people should better warn Queen Dami. If she continues to provoke me, I will post her personal videos and those of her friends too. She has forgotten I have CCTV all over my house,” Portable warned in the viral clip.

The feud reached boiling point after Queen Dami reportedly threatened the singer with a legal petition. In a classic “receipt-dropping” move, Portable retaliated by sharing WhatsApp chats and old clips to prove they had indeed resumed their romance, despite her public denials.

The drama has already claimed “collateral damage,” as Queen Dami’s friend, Debby, was forced to issue a public denial after being accused of involvement with the singer.

Social media has been set ablaze by the controversy, with many users expressing exhaustion over the singer’s constant public “draggings.”

  • The Critics: One user, @tms_for_love, lamented the health risks of such multiple affairs, while others advised Queen Dami to “start a new life” far away from the spotlight.
  • The Observers: Some pointed out the irony of the situation, noting that Portable never drags his first wife, Bewaji, in the same manner he does his “side” partners.

Queen Dami’s Defiant Response

Despite the heavy threats, Queen Dami appears unfazed—at least on the surface. She recently shared a video dancing joyfully to one of Portable’s own tracks, telling her “haters” that there is no perfect situation in life and she remains unapologetic about her choices.

As the threat of “leaked tapes” hangs in the air, the “Obidient” level of drama in Nollywood and the music industry seems to have found its new peak.
